THE GARRISON REDD PROJECT
Benjamin Fine @ 2017-08-19 12:34:07 -0400Before he was in a wheelchair, Garrison Redd was a star high school running back at James Madison High in Brooklyn. At the age of 18, he was randomly shot, resulting in a spinal cord injury that left him unable to walk. Forced to turn down football scholarship offers, he graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in finance and fashion merchandising.
The Garrison Redd Project was founded in 2017 with the aim of advocating for the rights of people with disabilities and motivating children in wheelchairs to reach their true potential. In addition to his work as a motivational speaker, consultant, and paralympic athlete, Garrison is a model and brand ambassador for MILFDAD. Check out more about The Garrison Redd Project.
